You have thought of everything, from cooking needs to outdoor space and the views and accessible beach are the icing on this birthday trips cake! We will be back!!!!!
Great views of the beach, sunsets, and Neahkahnie Mountain. Easy barefoot access to the beach. House is in a very “fresh” condition. Great Room of Living/Dining/Kitchen is a wonderful “social” space that lets the cook(s) be part of the fun family times. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were all clean and comfortable. The spa and sauna are nice extras. Overall – Very enjoyable!
I’ve stayed at countless VRBO properties and this was by far the most amazing. We will return again and again and again.
The house, location and town are perfect. We could not have had a more fun or relaxing time at John and Maria’s home and are so happy we were able to stay on relatively short notice. I highly doubt this house will be open for long periods of time going forward. Everything you might need is already there. The views from the living room are simply gorgeous. After taking a number of walks around the neighborhood we decided there is truly no other spot that could be better. Right across the street from the beach, grand views of the water and mountain, walking distance to town, and a patio, sauna, hot tub, and wonderful landscaping. We will absolutely come back again!
The view and stone’s throw location from the beach are wonderful but it’s all the touches of a home which really made our stay so idyllic. If you forgot to pack it, it’s likely on their organized shelves, available for your use. Watching the early morning fog dissolve while lingering over coffee, soothing tired surfer bodies in the hot tub, and watching the sun set while cooking in their beautiful kitchen…so grateful, John and Maria! We’ll be back…xo
Wow! We rented this beautiful beach house for a week vacation on the Oregon coast with our teenage children and were thrilled with the house and location. It was very warm and welcoming. The beach was a short walk from the house – great sandy beach with wonderful sunsets! The views from the house were beautiful Many close by hikes in Ecola State Park and Oswald West State Park. Short drive to Cannon Beach. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful after a day of hiking. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed to cook and grill too. Was so nice to have the guitar and ukulele for evening music too! Great house all around! Owners John and Maria were responsive and communicative. Would love to come back some time.
This beach house was the perfect holiday home! It is newly renovated with brand new furnishings and very comfortable. The views of the beach and surrounding mountains are truly spectacular and the location is perfect. The town of Manzanita is walking distance and the beach just at the doorstep. We stayed with family members of all ages and there is something for everyone. The kitchen is well appointed and a lovely spot to stay in and cook. The owners are very reactive and helpful. I would love to stay at this home for holidays all year round. We will book again as it is the perfect holiday beach house!
On a whim we decided on a trip to the beach for my daughter’s 8th birthday. We chose this beach house because of the views, easy beach access, and hot tub/sauna. WOW. I don’t know that we’ve ever stayed in a place with better views! It’s the way the house is situated…corner lot perched on a slight hill…that gives this house the advantage. You can see everything…the beach is smack-dab right in front of you and Neahkahnie Mountain is to the north. The house is also completely redone and fully stocked with the hosts thinking of everything their guests would need during a trip to the beach…kitchen supplies, games, books, all of it! Each day we walked the kids along the beach into Manzanita (which is turning into the new “it” beach town), and back, so you don’t need a car. Would highly recommend!
After staying here, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else on the coast. Mainly because you enter and the views are so stunning that it is hard to stop looking out the windows. Even rain didn’t diminish the experience because it was amazing to watch the crashing surf and cloud capped mountains out the windows while sitting inside with tea and a fire. The owners added a brand new hot tub and sauna, and you can walk along the sand to town, so there is no shortage of ways to spend your time. The house is impeccable and full of light with beautiful new linens. It looks booked up for summer but we will be back in the winter and fall.

I have been coming to Manzanita since I was a child and still it was a thrill to see whales on this visit, right from the living room of the house! They come in so close to the shore. What a beautiful home and location and views. The owners thought of everything, and nature took care of the rest to make this a wonderful holiday!
